Phenomenal book. I read it 15-20 years ago and found it extremely well written and practical. This newest update is just as lovely for the stories, but it is fresh as a book written yesterday. Loved it - again!
I was afraid that I would not enjoy the re-write as much as the original book. I'm glad I was wrong as this has the same useful and practical information on how to share one's faith.
Rebecca Pippert recounts many stories of her personal experiences of evangelism in a variety of circumstances with many different people. She uses her experience to explain the many concepts and approaches but is very careful to advise against one recipe. Great advice for the first-timer in need of getting out from behind the Bible and other theological books and into the field.
Very well-written. Anyone considering mission work should read this book before doing anything else!
This is a good basic book about simply talking to people about faith. I liked her examples of the different ways of thinking to better understand where others are coming from about spiritual matters. Learning about others before we speak shows that you value them as a person, We used this for a small group and there was agreement that it was helpful.
Awesome book on how to share Faith without alienating the person you are sharing with. Well written and easily understandable as well as scripturally sound. I would recommend this to anyone that is not comfortable with evangelism.
